In the complete Drive Package, motor inverters, gearboxes and motors are perfectly coordinated. The package is characterised by a high level of energy efficiency in all components. Working in parallel with the highly efficient gearboxes and motors, the 8400 motec frequency inverter enables the intelligent adjustment of the magnetising current. The VCF eco (Voltage Frequency Control economic) standard function automatically adjusts the motor's magnetising current to operating conditions in the partial load range, thus decreasing energy consumption by up to 30%.
The MF three-phase AC motors are perfectly optimised for MF frequency inverter operation and exceed the minimum degree of efficiency for efficiency class IE2. The moment of inertia, which is lower than that of standard motors, also reduces energy consumption during speed variation.
The directly mounted right-angle or coaxial gearboxes in the L-force gearbox range also make use of their high levels of energy efficiency to ensure that energy is transferred with minimal losses.
