NEW SERIES C
February 2003
A few months after the “low range” of the
Bonfiglioli helical in-line C series was released, the new frame sizes
C35, C41, C51 and C61 have begun entered into regular production, thus
complementing one of the broadest, best performing and most complete
range of concentric gearmotors that is offered to the marketplace.
With a total of eleven frame sizes, spanning from the 50 Nm to 12000
Nm range, it is now easier than ever to select a gearbox that is the
most economical and perfectly suited for each specific application.
In comparison to the former generation, the new products have a 30 %
increase in the number of gear ratios, well spaced and with a finer
progression, that allows almost any speed requirements to be met.
Also, the new frame sizes have been significantly torque upgraded, of
40% on average, resulting in an improvement in value when considering
the cost of the Nm delivered to the shaft.
Overall, the gearboxes of the latest generation feature the greatest
flexibility as far as meeting the requirements of both the drive-end
and the non-drive-end side.

It is worth noticing the various characteristics:
Flanged versions allow the choice of up to three different bolt-on
flanges, all IEC normalized
Both metric and inch solid output shafts are available, the latter
particularly suited for the North american market
Wide choice of electric motors, either of the integral compact or
the IEC flanged type. Both can be inverter driven and can be
complemented with a safety brake, either of the a.c. or the d.c.
type
Also available are the adapters that accommodate the NEMA-style
motors.

New addition lends more flexibility to VF worm units
November 2002
A new, additional design is now available for VF speed reducers in
frame sizes 30, 44 and 49.
The U configuration has been added to the existing foot-mount
versions and overlaps with them all, with the added plus of allowing
installation on any one of the three faces.
The versatile attitude of the newly introduced design is further
enhanced by the charge of synthetic lubricant. The combination of
these features allows installation in any mounting position and
eliminates the need for periodic oil changes.
This means that the new design duplicates the overdriven – type A,
underdriven – type N and vertical worm shaft – type V –
mounting options, however with significantly less space requirement.
Space-efficiency is fully exploited through the combination with
B14-flanged motors, allowing installation where limited space is the
priority consideration. |
