Flywheel Range of Metallic Disc Couplings
Metastream® L Series - Flywheel Range of metallic disc couplings has been specifically designed to provide a cost effective solution for demanding gas compression
applications. The couplings are selected by their torque capacity with the flywheel adapter being selected to suit a range of standard flywheel
sizes. The flywheel adapter fits accurately to the flywheel of the driving
engine.

Fit and forget. The L Series - Flywheel coupling is designed for infinite life.
Zero maintenance the coupling has no relativemoving parts, and hence requires no lubrication or
maintenance.
Overload protection. The coupling is fitted with overload collars to protect the disk pack in the event of severe torsional
overload.
Low imposed loads using the latest techniques to optimize their torque capability
Excellent inherent balance due to full hub and spacer flanges
Choice of universal flywheel adapters to suit SAE & heavy duty bolt patterns
