|
|
Precision, high dynamics and powerful performance
in a particularly compact design – these are the
defining characteristics of the new CMP
servomotors. Thanks to their optimized length,
these motors can be used in even the smallest of
spaces. The new and highly dynamic servomotors
round off the CMP servomotors offered by SEW-EURODRIVE
in the lower torque range: Static torques from 7.1
Nm to 0.5 Nm are available with three CMP motor
sizes and a total of eight motor levels. The
latest in winding and magnet technology gives the
CMP servomotors a low mass moment of inertia
despite their optimized power performance. The
result is a motor system with the highest possible
dynamic characteristics.

CT/CV asynchronous servomotors
CT/CV asynchronous servomotors for high external mass
moments of inertia
Your advantages
- Torque from 5 to 200 Nm
- Control with MOVIDRIVE® and MOVIDRIVE®
compact inverters with field-oriented CFC control
- Load up to 3 to 4 times rated motor torque
- Can be combined with all gear units of the modular SEW
unit system
|
|
|
CT/CV series asynchronous servomotors are used
primarily when high external mass moments of
inertia acting on the motor shaft must be reliably
controlled. The particularly compact unit, which
consists of a gear unit and sturdy asynchronous
servomotor in four speed classes, and has a
high-resolution sin/cos encoder, achieves high
speed consistency even at low speeds. Reliable and
precise positioning of asynchronous servomotors is
possible with the CFC control mode of the
MOVIDRIVE® inverters and MOVIAXIS®
servo inverters at peak values up to 300% of the
rated motor torque.

The comprehensive range of options and accessories for the
DR/DT/DV series of AC motors is available for the CT/CV
series of asynchronous servomotors.

Synchronous linear servomotors (SL2)
Perfect precision, highest dynamic properties and high speed
Your advantages
- SL2 motors save time during project planning
- Precise, reliable and safe at any speed
- Virtually maintenance-free
|
|
|
The already high demands on machine cycles,
acceleration and linear travel speeds for drive
systems in handling, transportation and production
are steadily increasing. Whether as highly dynamic
and flexible processing machines for handling or
in pick-and-place applications, the new SL2
synchronous linear motors by SEW-EURODRIVE are the
ideal solution for such requirements. As linear
motion and force is generated directly, no
mechanical transmission elements subject to wear,
such as spindles, ball bearings or toothed belts,
are required. An optimum force-density ratio is
achieved by using the latest winding technology
and a laminated iron core. The SL2 synchronous
linear motor with convection cooling is
practically maintenance-free and offers maximum
reliability and availability, high control
quality, speed and accuracy.
SL2 synchronous linear motors are available in
three designs for speed classes 1, 3 and 6 m/s
(3, 10 and 20 ft/s): SL2 Basic, SL2 Advance System
and SL2 Power System. For longer travel
distances, secondaries are available in different
lengths and can be easily lined up with one
another. The SL2 Advance System features a motor
cooling unit, which provides even better cooling
than SL2 Basic. A forced-air cooling fan gives the
SL2 Power System a further power boost.

Accessories and options for linear servomotors
AL1H length measuring system
SEW-EURODRIVE can equip the SL2 Advance System and SL2 Power
System linear servomotors with the AL1H absolute length
measuring system. AL1H consists of a linear sensor, which is
attached to the motor cooling unit along with the encoder
components, and a measuring tape, which is routed along the
travel section. The AL1H length measuring system is
dirt-resistant and permits high speeds and acceleration.
Encoder components that are ready for use facilitate fast,
simple and cost-effective mounting of the AL1H.
Prefabricated cables for linear servomotors
SEW-EURODRIVE offers optional prefabricated power and
feedback cables for SL2 Advance System and SL2 Power System
linear servomotors, enabling straightforward and reliable
connection.
Power cables are fitted with the appropriate plug connector
on the motor side. The shield is connected in the connector
housing according to EMC requirements. All plug connectors
seal the plug on the cable end with a lamellar seal and
ensure strain relief in accordance with EN 61884. On the
inverter side, the single conductors are exposed, and the
shield is ready for connection in the control cabinet. The
parts included allow you to customize the single conductors
specifically for your inverter.
The encoder end of the feedback cable is ready for
connection to the AL1H length measuring system. A
commercial sub-D EMC connector with pin contacts is used on
the inverter end. A 9-pin or 15-pin plug is used, depending
on the inverter used.

DS/CM synchronous servomotors
For a variety of combinations in different applications and
economical performance: DS/CM synchronous servomotors
Your advantages
|
|
|
SEW synchronous servomotors are ideal for highly
dynamic applications. With three sizes and three
lengths for each, the new CM motor series covers a
torque range from 5 to 70 Nm static
torque. This motor is equipped with high-energy
NdFeB magnets and thus offers an extremely high
overload support of 400% standstill current as a
standard. The CM servomotor owes its compact
design with very high power density to the new
magnetic circuit layout. The DS series, with its
three lengths, covers the lower 1 to 4 Nm
static torque range. The acceleration torques of
the motors are three to four times the static
torque for all sizes. All motors come equipped
with standard thermal motor protection and
resolver feedback for motor control.
